While all three rooms are carpeted and have soft panels on the walls for attaching items, it is the artwork on the walls made by Alaska Natives and full of color, stories, and style that attract many of the guests to learn more and makes Cape Fox Lodge stand out. Cape Fox Lodge boasts some of the best views with scenic views of Deer Mountain, Ketchikan Creek, and Bear Valley, providing another glimpse into Alaska’s true beauty. Then, after a long day of meetings, come and relax in the Cape Fox Lodge lobby by the fireside or dine on the best food and drink in Southeast Alaska at our Heen Kahidi restaurant. Business gatherings, social events, and weddings are our specialty. Our flexible staff is ready to make your event a success.
Our main meeting rooms offer every amenity and can handle groups from under 10 to over 200 participants. In addition, our well-appointed Blue Heron and Thunderbird room suites can be utilized for breakout rooms and smaller groups and meetings.

This large conference room (64′ x 26′) can accommodate over 200 participants. It can also be divided to accommodate smaller groups with ease (Shaa hit A = 25’x26′, Shaa Hit B = 39’x26′, and Shaa Hit C = 40’x15,). All our rooms have full audio and video capabilities.

At 10’x20′, this room is perfect for board retreats, this room accommodates 12 comfortably. Attendees will delight in the views of the harbor, Tongass Narrows, and historic downtown Ketchikan. The lodge is the perfect place to relax after a day’s work. There is usually a fire in the beautiful fireplace, authentic Tlingit artwork on display, and the aroma from the Heen Kahidi restaurant will set off your taste buds with its authentic Alaskan dishes and unique flair to provide a culinary delight.
TED FERRY CIVIC CENTER
The Ted Ferry Civic Center sits adjacent to Cape Fox Lodge. Just steps away from the lodge entrance. The contemporary ballroom of the Ted Ferry Civic Center is 4,500 square feet of high ceilings, dormers, distinctive windows and award-winning architecture. The 1,500 square foot stage adjoins the ballroom and is complete with the latest sound and lighting technology.
Private meeting areas are created using sound-insulated partitions. With quiet ease, the ballroom becomes three distinct rooms with individual sound systems and lighting controls. These features, combined with the fully equipped professional kitchen, executive boardroom, and tastefully decorated lobby, make for a totally versatile, full-service facility.
The Civic Center has all the amenities necessary to assist with your event, including audio visual equipment, copiers, high-speed Internet access, teleconference equipment, computers, LCD projectors and more.
