Cape Fox Lodge has an in-house museum that celebrates the Tlingit culture on two floors. Private tours are available on request. With a striking mountainous backdrop, the imposing “Council of the Clans” totem exhibit guards the Lodge’s front entry. The Lodge’s vistas are unmatched in Ketchikan and can be enjoyed from your room, the lobby, and the Heen Kahidi Dining Room. Don’t forget to stop in the gift shop in the lobby. You’ll find original and unique works of art.

HIKING

From Cape Fox Lodge, The Married Man’s Trail takes you downward landing right on Creek Street below.

The Deer Mountain Trail is approximate .5 mile walk to it’s trail head from Cape Fox Lodge. Scenic views from the top.

Bar Harbor Ale House boasts a modern menu with a BBQ flair. We are excited to bring Ketchikan a new and invigorating dining destination and are proud to offer a wide variety of craft beers, specializing in Alaskan brews. Locally owned and operated!

TRANSPORTATION

Cape Fox Lodge’s special amenities include our shuttle buses and tram. If there is anything we can do to assist you in getting where you want to go, let us know.

Cape Fox Shuttle Bus

Our first shuttle starts at 6:50 A.M. and gets you on the 7:15 A.M. ferry going across to Ketchikan International Airport. It departs the lodge every half hour until the last departure at 9:20P.M.

To schedule a Courtesy Shuttle, give us a call at: 907-225-8001 and let us know what Ketchikan International Airport Ferry you want, so we can send our Courtesy Shuttle to meet you on the Ketchikan side.

Cape Fox Tram
Depending on weather, the tram runs every day from the Lodge to Creek Street below and back again. The tram is located on the first floor in the main Lodge lobby. Simply push the button and your chariot awaits.
